Overview

M13 is an early-stage venture firm investing in visionary founders building disruptive software businesses. Based in LA and NYC, M13 hosts a variety of events throughout the year, building a strong network of investors, founders, and industry leaders.

My role

Support the creative direction and curation of consistent brand materials across the following event touchpoints:

  • Tentpole events

  • Community-building events

  • Internal culture events

Beyond the listed product deliverables, I also support the production and distribution of confidential materials including presentation decks, print collateral, and pre-and post-event communications.

Welcome gift expresses gratitude to M13 employees and builds excitement for the team bonding events in the days ahead. The Camp M13 logo serves as an extension of M13’s overarching brand. The sub-brand logo combines existing M13 design elements with bespoke imagery, textures, and fonts relating to the event theme: summer camp.

Key learnings

As a lean team, we prioritize optimizing products and processes to boost productivity. With repeatable processes in place, we can channel our creative energy into enhancing event experiences with new initiatives.

In addition, cultivating strong soft skills is vital in an events production role. Consistent communication and feedback are essential for day-to-day operations. Moreover, having an adaptive mindset prepares us to pivot quickly and effectively.
